Unraveled Destiny

A Non-canonical match-up series where NO ONE ends up with who we 
thought they would.

This is three long multi-chaptered books. Some overlap will occur to 
handle different viewpoints of the books.

Unforeseen Future, Book 1:

Set in Ukyou's POV as she thinks about the past.

During most of the story, a Ukyou - Ryoga pairing is strongly suggested.

Ukyou notices from the start that she is losing Ranma to Akane and has 
a couple heart to heart talks with Ryoga. In one, he talks about why he 
left Akari.

A Nabiki plan of 'the big date' occurs where each fiancee gets a date 
with Ranma. Ranma's reactions clinch Ukyou's thoughts she lost. 
Thoughts that Shampoo's didn't go much better. She oddly doesn't 
reference Akane's or Kodachi's dates.

After Ryoga defeats Shampoo and deemed a more worthy husband (won the 
last couple battles against Ranma). Mousse attacks Ryoga and is badly 
wounded. Shampoo leaves duck-boy to bleed while Ukyou bandages him up.

Cologne shows Akane who her pet-pig really is.

More things happen, and ends with Ukyou choosing between Ryoga and 
Mousse, and Mousse is chosen. Ryoga, not wanting to be alone and 
offered a cure to P-Chan, accepts Shampoo. The Amazon twins are 
accidentally beaten by Hiroshi and Daisuke during the wedding.



How it all Began, by Empress Nabiki, Book 2:

Set up as an autobiography of Tendo Nabiki. 

Nabiki - Taro is the only real pairing made in the story, but the 
ground work for book three is set up.

Nabiki helps Taro change the Pantyhose part of his name. (It fails but 
it was not Nabiki's fault.)

Nabiki and Taro have a little talk and Nabs verbally reams him a new 
ass hole.

Nabiki tries to bribe him, but it doesn't do anything. If he wants 
something, he just takes it.

Happosai agrees to change Taro's name, but only to that of the girl's 
family name he marries. Taro clumsily courts Nabiki, and when Taro 
proposes- she agrees.

End notes indicate that Nabiki and Taro have taken over a small 
Chinese government and have there hands in several businesses. Taro is 
also a super-sports-star.

Included in Book 2 (for How is All Began Book 1 was her early life and 
this start more than half-way through that book 2.):

Kodachi approaches Nabiki on how to help her land Ranma-sama. Nabiki 
couches Kodachi on social skills. Kodachi is shown to not be insane, 
just completely socially inept since her mother never trained her and 
her father is insane.

The 'big date' occurs and Kodachi has a fairly decent date, while 
Ranma's and Akane's fails for reasons that are all their own. 
Reference Ranma intentionally trying to screw up dates with Shampoo, 
Ukyou, and Kodachi.

Konatsu has moved into the Tendo home after Ukyou and Mousse are 
engaged. Akane is very sympathetic to him.



Dinner Part, Book 3

Kuno throws a dinner party, and when one of the kids ask for how mommy 
and daddy met, a story is told in the combined viewpoints of everyone 
present:

It starts off with Kodachi 'buying' her engagement from Genma. This 
added considerable more strain to Ranma's and Akane's engagement and 
was the last straw for Nodoka as she divorces Genma (she takes the 
money).

Akane is shown growing away from Ranma. His denial of being in love 
with her. The botched 'big date.' Finding out that he made himself an 
absolute jerk when Ukyou had her turn. Kodachi getting an official 
claim. Ranma not doing anything about her. Him acting insensitively to 
Konatsu. The fact their fighting had not stopped. Ranma not telling 
her about P-Chan. Akane's growing affection for Konatsu did not help 
matters.

Ranma starts walked on eggshells around Akane. He doesn't want to make 
her upset, but can't seem to help it. He is also convinced Akane 
doesn't love him, because she never says it. Kodachi's 'change' in 
personality didn't help him smooth things with Akane, as she was 
becoming a decent alternative.

Akane and Ranma have a talk and she says how sorry she is that she 
thinks it'll never work between them. They admit they love each 
other, but there is too much in the way for it too work.

Devastated, Ranma goes to Kodachi who helps him get over Akane. With 
nothing in the way to stop it, Kodachi and Ranma get married. 

Akane is similarly a wreck, but believes it's for the best. She cries 
on Konatsu's shoulder, and eventually Konatsu and Akane get engaged 
and married (she asked him).

During course of the story, Kuno - Azusa and Mikado - Kasumi pairing.
