Qing Long, aka Qinglongmon and Seiryu, has chosen his priestess, Hikari. As the celestial priestess to Qing Long, Hikari will help to shape the future of the Digital World and Earth. Because of her desire for everyone to have a digimon partner, the number of Chosen and Digi-destined are increasing daily. Eventually everyone will have a digimon and knowledge of the Digital World would be shared by all. (In other words, it was because of Hikari that in 2027 that everyone had digimon.)
During Hikari's adventures, she has been accompanied by seven warriors. During the first adventure, she was aided by Takeru, Taichi, Sora, Yamato, Koushiro, Mimi, and Jyou. When her second adventure began, some of the older warriors were unable to help her so a new team was created of Takeru, Daisuke, Miyako, Iori, Ken, along with Taichi and Koushiro acting as support. Her current team would consist of seven members picked by Qing Long from the first group, second group, and ex-Dark Seed Children. (Takeru and probably Taichi would be members of the new team.)
Bai Hu, aka Baihumon and Byako, has awakened and is in opposition to what Qing Long and Hikari are doing to both the Digital World and Earth. He prefers that the two worlds remain separate and as few people as possible would have partners, if any.
Bai Hu selects Maria of the New York group to be his priestess, as her early adventures have left her wishing that neither she nor anyone else ever had partners for the hardship it has brought her. (Writer's discretion as to why she would feel like this. Possibly her mother died during a digimon attack.) Her warriors are Michael, Lou, Steve, Sam, Wallace, Mimi, and one more.
Both Hikari and Maria are sent upon a quest to find the Digital Codex that will, if read, will give the reader the power to make their wishes come true. What neither of them know is that by reading it, they make themselves an avatar to their Digital God. The reader would be seen as becoming the Digital God, and her soul would become part of that god. (Whether or not this is the case is, again, the author's choice.)
An animosity forms between the new Odaiba group and the New York team as they both quest for the Digital Codex. Both teams know there can only be one winner, and with the prize being as grand as having one's wishes granted-- neither team trusts the other team. Tempers will flare between the teams and fights between them will occur. Mimi tries to play peacekeeper at first, but misunderstandings force her to treat her old friends from Odaiba as enemies.
An Ultimate evil digimon seeking to become a god, himself, doesn't help matters with his seven Perfection level minions.
How much Fushigi Yugi plays a factor is up to the writer. Someone with a lot of information could cameo Miaka and Yui as they sense that Hikari is a Priestess of Seiryu. Or can go through and line up the Chosen with Seiryu warriors: Nakago - Takeru, Soi - Sora/Miyako....
Who wins at the end, if anyone, is also up to the writer. As is the death count at the end. With Fushigi Yugi, some characters died multiple times. Feel free to make it a blood bath. ^^;
For Our Digital World (Qinglongmon's warning)
Qinglongmon has called the Chosen together to warn them what can happen if they were to have children with each other. For Sora and Yamato, any child they would have would become a Chosen. However for Taichi, Hikari, Takeru, and Daisuke, if any one of them has a child with a Chosen, the child might become a god. Even if the child becomes a god of good, the mere existance of such power could bring about ruin to the Digital World.
Child of the Light, Child of the Dark
The Chosen have been warned per the events depicted in 'For Our Digital World.' The time is now after the epilogue of Zero-Two, and all seems peaceful. However, things are not what they appear to be.
Yamato, as an astronaut, spends the majority of his time on Japanese Self Defense Force Bases preparing for the next space mission. This causes him to miss important dates, like birthdays, as he's always at work. This has also left Sora feelings alone and bitter, and she's been like that for many years now.
Taichi has never had much luck with relationships. His son is a product of a meaningless relationship he had with a secretary that worked for him years ago. Being a promenant political figure, he was able to gain custody of his son. However, the legal battle left him frustrated and feeling alone. Visiting Sora, he hoped to see a friendly face but saw loneliness in her eyes as well. In a moment of weakness, they had an affair. They were worried that when Sora became pregnant shortly afterwards that Taichi was the father, but all indications is that Yamato was the father considering her son's digimon follows Gabumon's evolutions.
Meanwhile, Hikari has kept a secret since her final days in college. While celebrating graduation with her friends, she had too much to drink and slept with Takeru. Because of Qinglongmon's warning years ago, Hikari panics and does what she can to cover it up. One of her friends had also drunkenly slept with a guy, and Hikari made it look like Takeru had slept with that girl and not her. When Hikari discovered she was pregnant, she blamed it on some guy she didn't know from that party.
Takeru depressed from what he percieved had happened at the party and Hikari's pregnancy, he ends up in what amounts to be a rebound relationship. He marries the girl because he got her pregnant, but wishes he never had. He has no love for the woman, especially after she proves to be a poor mother. He divorces her and takes custody of his son.
Now, Hikari's son, Yagami Takeshi, is regarded as being a true Chosen. While everyone has a digimon, not everyone can evolve them and Takeshi can. Qinglongmon and Gennai know of Takeshi's parentage and have placed limitations on him. Chief of them was giving him the Crest of Darkness, where Takeshi must think of dark emotions in order to evolve his adult digimon, a male Tailmon, to Holy Angemon. However, dark thoughts are usually beyond Takeshi, and it isn't an easy crest for him to activate.
----
Lady Devimon held Iori's daughter up in the air. "You aren't the one."
Takeshi knew he had to evolve Tailmon to win, but Lady Devimon hadn't done anything yet to truly make him angry at her. All he could think of was tight black leather, ample breasts, shapely figure...
And Tailmon evolved to Holy Angemon, sparing a moment to look at Takeshi in slight disgust. "Lust? You got me to evolve with lustful thoughts about HER?!"
"Sorry," Takeshi sheepishly apologized.
----
Thanks to a mistake of Gennai's, Takeshi knows who his father is. He has done his best to become friends with his half-brother. However, when Takeru learns that Takeshi is his son, Takeru's other son overhears comments that lead him to believe that his own existance was never supposed to have happened. That Takeru should've always been Takeshi's father and not his. Takeru and Takeshi try to fix things, but it soon becomes too late.
Piemon appears, revealing he had found a way to escape Heaven's Gate years ago and was waiting for when he would get his revenge. And his revenge came in the form of the Chosen's children, or to be more percise the son of Sora and Taichi. Piemon placed an illusion spell upon Sora's son's digimon from when it first appeared as an egg. He has been careful to guide the boy to do as he wanted. Yamato rarely being home, Sora escaping through her own work, and his older sister growing up has left Sora's son to feel as if no one loves him. Particularly after he learns who his real father is. The only person he cares for is his older sister.
Sora's son's first act as one of Piemon's new Dark Masters, was to blow up the apartment building that Takeru lived in, with his son still inside it. Takeru, in grief, blindly attacks evolving Patamon to Holy Angemon (or Vamdemon for dark evolution), but Sora's son shows his powers as he evolves his digimon, now Agumon, to Black Wargreymon and nearly destroys Takeru's digimon.
The older Chosen are out of practice with fighting like this. It falls upon Takeshi and the other children of the Chosen to go after Sora's son and Piemon. As each day passes Sora's son increases in power, particularly after he takes Takeshi's Crest of Darkness and makes it work like it never has for Takeshi by making Agumon evolve to a stage eight digimon of destruction and kills Piemon.
Takeshi and the other children wrestle with the thoughts of what they have to do to defeat Sora's son. It is almost certain that he has to die, but can they kill him, who is directly related to some of them?
If I had the time to write this, I would focus on the problems of the family life. Show how Sora's son wasn't evil in the beginning, but was warped by loneliness, Piemon and power. In particular, I'd show a strong relationship between Sora's children. That her son loved his sister, only for when the final battle happens-- Takeshi fails to kill him, but Sora's daughter does not.
The Odaiba Rangers
Shortly after Belial Vamdemon's death, the Chosen digimon are dissappearing without a trace. No one knows if the cause is a digimon or something more Earthly. In fear that it is a digimon, each of the main Odaiba Chosen are given a new digivice. Calling out, 'Digi-armor Eneeeerrrrgize!' they transform into 'Armor Mode,' they encased themselves in armor with a color that relates to their trait and/or digivice color. Wearing the armor, a Chosen can survive being hit by an adult digimon's attacks and have the physical strength to overpower most child digimon. Basically, they are considered a child digimon in terms of combat ability.
(Taichi - Orange, Sora - Red, Yamato - dark blue, Koushiro - purple, Jyou - gun metal gray, Mimi - lime green, Takeru - gold and/or green, Hikari - white or white and pink, Daisuke - light blue, Iori - Yellow, Miyako - mauve, Ken - PINK)
They soon learn that the kidnappers are quite human, but also have high technological gear including their own power armor. They can do little more than protect the ex-Dark Seed Chosen's digimon while Koushiro and Gennai try to track down who is behind the kidnappings and find where their digimon are being kept.
The inept new commander of the 'acquisition' team tries to capture the new digimon, but is constantly foiled. He keeps returning with bigger weapons to try and get the young digimon of the new Chosen. During the course of these confrontations the Chosen learn that the armors can evolve.
When this evolution occurs, the armor breaks apart, revealing the person wearing a different set of clothes, such as:
----
Sora's red armor exploded, but she was not harmed. She stood there
wearing a white school shirt and very short blue mini-skirt. Sora blinked
as she looked down. "I'm a Sailor Scout?!"'
----
Or with Taichi, the various levels of Goku. Each evolution to the outfit is an equivalent evolution in power. (Sora's line would function like: armor/child - sailor 'venus'/ adult - sailor 'moon'/ Perfection - 'Queen Serenity'/Ultimate)
Play this as if to parody Power Rangers and all series that the kids evolve into.
Chosen Warriors
In a night of blood, hundreds of Chosen and Digi-destined were brutally assassinated. A new threat to the Digital World has arrived and his first act of terror was to have as many Chosen killed as possible. They would be the ones to oppose him, and without the children, their digimon partners become worthless.
The Odaiba group faired better than most as they have their digimon living with them. (However, some of them can die, especially with the ex-dark seed Chosen counted amoung their number.) However, the killings haven't ended and the Chosen and Digi-destined are afraid for thier lives, refusing to leave the side of their digimon as some of the attacks occured at places like Churches and schools.
The Odaiba group is given the task to defeat this new threat and they are all given a new digivice. One that will allow them to fight as well. They are all given the armor digivice per 'The Odaiba Rangers' idea but this is done in a serious manner.
As the adventure progresses, the evil digimon behind all of this sets things up for the children and digimon to become seperated, so he can kill them easier. However, it is then learned that the Chosen can evolve the armor.
Eventually the kids free their digimon and face the final foe in a big climatic fight.
Child's Digimon
(Humor, pseudo-continuation post-epilogue)
Tachikawa 'Sano' Sanosuke is the son of famed food critic, Tachikawa Mimi.. Mimi has won many pestigious awards for her cooking show, which doesn't deal solely with cooking but being a modern mother. Thanks to his mother, Sano also has his own television series, 'Child's Digimon.' A series made specifically to help children raise digimon correctly, particularly the class pet, Pico Devimon.
Sano is currently in fifth grade, taught by Yagami Hikari. Hikari got stuck with teaching fifth grade after the schools were reorganized (it was either fifth grade or be unemployed). She is widowed and raising her son alone. Hikari has problems with teaching older children is compounded by the presence of Ishida Yamako, Sora's daughter.
Yamako is a VERY disruptive influence on the class. She's gotten most of the boys and a couple girls to do as they please, meanwhile Sano has most of the girls siding with him in attempts to regain order. When the class is particularly disruptive Takeru, who teaches digimon raising to all classes at the school, tries to intervine. However, with even the hint of revealing a photo, Yamako prevents either of Takeru, Hikari or their digimon from acting.
Takeru is divorced as his wife wanted a family, but not the responcibility of one. Takeru got fed up with her avoiding being a mother to their son and ended their marriage.
Sano, of course, has an agent that he has a strong crush on and wrongly labeled as his dominatrix. 'She controls me and likes giving me pain.'
If you haven't realized that this is a Digimon/Child's Toy fusion with some liberties taken, then this isn't a series for you to write. The writer should be very familiar with Child's Toy, a lot more than I am, to make the story work correctly as a fussion.
Adventure Returns
(alternat timeline after Zero-One)
The events during Digimon Adventures Zero-One occur, however by the time Zero-Two would begin-- nothing is the same.
The story begins with Takeru expalining that all of his friends are missing. It had started with Hikari, then Taichi, and now only he was left. He knows he's next, but prepares himself for a fight. He leaves to go to Odaiba Elementary, sad that he should be meeting Hikari there, but knowing she's gone. He presses a button on the elevator. Meanwhile Iori and Miyako are on the elevator as it's going down. The door opens, and all they see is a hat fluttering away in the wind.
Daisuke looks at a picture of himself with Hikari, Taichi and Sora on a soccer field. He thinks about the friendship he had with them, and hopefully more with Hikari, but they're gone. He vows to find them and bring them home. He passes the computer room at school at the same time as Miyako and Iori. Each of them hear their name called from the room. They enter and find Tailmon (with her tailring), who guides them to go into the Digital World.
Daisuke jumps straight into the portal, and Miyako and Iori reluctantly follow. They arrive inside a temple where the digimentals of knowledge and love are present. Miyako and Iori take the digimentals and gain their digimon. From there they were going to track down Daisuke's digimental but the Digimon Kaiser appears. After defeating a couple digimon, they all go through a television portal. Tailmon stays with Daisuke as they prepare to try again tomorrow to get Daisuke's digimon.
The battle against Ken doesn't take as much time as the main series. Tailmon guides the new Chosen, but she doesn't know much, save that Ken isn't acting under his own control. Also, a few comments about email problems are referenced. However, Ken's continued failure raises the ire of his unseen master. Towards the end of Ken's arc, the new Chosen are led into trap. Tailmon is shocked beyond words when she learns that Takeru and Patamon are fighting for Ken, but his behavior is all wrong. He attacks, calling the new Chosen dark digimon that must be destroyed. By forcing Angemon to fight Chosen, his form switches to Devimon and then evolves to Vamdemon. Takeru keeps calling him Holy Angemon though. The fight ends with the new Chosen retreating.
Ken creates Chimeramon to defeat the new Chosen, but that was when the Chosen reach the base in an attempt to destroy it. During the resulting fight Daisuke gains the Golden Digimental of Miracles and evolves V-mon to Magnamon. With Wormmon's help, Magnamon frees Takeru and Patamon from the spell on them and then destroy Chimeramon. Ken breaks free of his dark seed and Wormmon lives.
Their next opponents are Jyou and Zudomon, followed by Mimi and Lillymon. They have been infected with Dark Seeds. The battles are not easy since Angemon has little effect on Zudomon and Lillymon, and as Holy Angemon his attacks are too lethal and would kill them. Takeru gains the Digimental of Hope while Tailmon takes the one for light. It is during these arcs that the new Chosen get their new Digimentals. Also, Stingmon and XV-mon jogress to Dino Beemon in one fight and Paildramon in another. Miyako and Iori also jogress their digimon to Sylphimon or Shakkoumon depending on the situation.
Then comes Koushiro calling for help from the internet. The older Chosen aren't fooled. They know it's a trap. Koushiro is in the process of taking over the internet. He has gained enough power that Tentomon can evolve into Hercules Kabuterimon. Paildramon evolves in Imperial Dramon.
With Koushiro's defeat, it leaves four remaining missing Chosen. Sora, Taichi and Yamato are the next opponents collectively. Rather than fight them individually. While Sora only has Garudamon, Taichi and Yamato has access to ultimates. When Sora is freed of her Dark Seed's influence, Taichi and Yamato become very upset at her 'turning traitor' and unleash a viral Omegamon. After the climatic battle against Omegamon, the Chosen are left battered and bruised. Dino Beemon evolves into Gran Kuwagamon.
That's when the master behind all of this reveals himself, Demon. The Chosen flee, but know what they have to do, free Hikari. She could not be corrupted by the Dark Seed so she was imprisoned. In the climatic final battle, Omegamon, Holydramon and Imperial Dramon Fighter Form and a crap load of Perfections fight Demon and finally kill him.
Once Upon a Spell
Shortly after Belial Vamdemon's destruction, various Chosen from around the world are approached by Hogwarts School of magic. Hikari is the only one of the Odaiba group to go (most are too old, Daisuke and Takeru couldn't afford it, Iori isn't old enough yet). Hikari is given a bit of a crash course of summer training so she can go straight into the second year.
While Hikari and Tailmon are learning about spells and this strange new life, Harry Potter is a year above her dealing with his own adventures. Harry knows of her in passing, mostly because of Hikari having a REALLY weird familiar. However for the first year or two Hikari is attending Hogwarts, they shouldn't interact much at all.
One bit of humor should be of the other mages dealing with Hikari's oddity. For one, her cat isn't black and walks standing up. Second, they learn that Tailmon can cast magic as well as is attending classes along with Hikari. Tailmon is particularly interested in transformation spells to turn herself temporarily human. Can't forget Hikari has a few high level 'spells' of her own, digimon evolution and opening portal to the Digital World.
As Harry's adventures progress, Hikari gets more and more involved in them starting either in his fourth or fifth year. The more Hikari and Harry interact, the more of a couple they become. It should be a long progression of events that lead to Hikari and Harry becoming a real couple, one that takes years of courtship.
