Jade is a tomboy, through and through with a history of martial arts in her family. Very good while playing Basketball, she also practices Kung Fu.
Her sister Ashley, is in Melborne High, while she is still in Melborne Elementary. Craves adventure while constantly wishing for monsters to attack.
Jade gets her wish when she meets Hagurumon in early 2003. Together, the pair defended the city from a series of left over
digimon from the 02 invasion, a fight that almost spilled into the Bermuda Triangle.
Jade is the leader of the group of five, each with a crystal in the shape of a certain type of power. Her power draws from the red star she wears, which allows her digimon to evolve to perfection.

David is the second in command. And justly so. With a quiet surety that goes beyond his years, David is a berserker in the battle field. One of the best students and martial artists in Melborne.
Other than that, David makes an excellent field commander at times, helping pull out the others when they get too deep into trouble. Quite imposing for a fifteen year old, he has the whole team beat in muscle mass.
While most kids his age would have learned how to play baseball from his father, his father taught him how to survive in the wilderness and build a Burmese tiger pit, amidst other skills which include bypassing alarm systems.
Constantly teased for being in a family of G.I. Joes, David takes it all in stride with a small smile. He was the one who introduced the group to martial arts, some taking it up easier than others.

Tanya grew up in Melborne's Harbor District, one of the less savory places in Melborne. Quite the thief, she can hack her way into computer systems and safes for that matter. She lives with her elder sister, her parents both deceased during a plane crash when she was six, her sister fifteen.
Tanya is an enforcer. Plain and simple. She knows not to upset most people, but can get them to follow without too much grief. It takes a lot to ruffle her calm. She wears yellow, to the point where it's a miracle to find anything else.
Her elder sister supports them by running the Youth Center and Juice Bar in downtown Melborne.
The pair are very supportive of each other, their relationship a mirror of Gina and Raine.
Tanya also has a Piyomon who shares her interests in computers and cracking safes. While her sister, Tasha, tries to discourage the fact, she knows that it's too ingrained in her sister to do much good.

Kylie isn't all about her looks. She's a formidable opponent with a keen mind backing herself up. Not one to go on shopping sprees, she is more into the mysticism and supernatural. Secretly, she wishes she could go Goth but her parents would have fits, being Christian, conservative and not quite right in their heads.
The resident genius of the group of five, she gets her hands into everything. Not as strong as the rest of the group, she is a gymnast and archery expert to compensate for her physical weakness.
She talks with Carter a lot online, since he's the closest to a North American Koushiro they can get, without actually having to contact the real Koushiro. She helped him develop the D-3 Transporter System to allow porting to anywhere in the world through the Digital Gate.
Kylie was the last to tell her parents about her digimon and the duties she had. Her parents, actually encouraged it as she made it sound like she was fighting the ultimate evil to bring peace and love to the world. It was the only way they would accept her going to the digital world.
